I Prevail is back!

This morning, Brian Burkheiser, who is one of the lead singers in the Detroit based rock band, I Prevail , announced that the band will be releasing new music next month. In a statement on Instagram, Brain said " To everybody who doubted... new @iprevailband music next month. Spread the word, we’re back."

The band has been on hiatus since releasing "Lifelines" and touring the album. This is because lead singer Brian Burkheiser had an issue regarding his voice while touring. Back in December of 2017, Brian underwent surgery because he developed a polyp on his vocal cord. He originally tried treatment but his body was just not responding. This left surgery as the only option left. Many thought that this meant that the band would be done with and would never be heard from again. Fortunately, Brian's surgery was successful and he has been recovering and working on his vocals. A few months ago, the band teased photos that they were back in the studio making new tracks and now today, its finally confirmed that something is coming next month.

As to what is coming, I am going to assume that its a brand new single to help promote a new album or LP coming out in the months to follow. Regardless as to what the case may be, I am just very glad that Brian is doing better and that I Prevail is back.
